The sections composing the channel have overlapping face areas (5, 6, 7) which have congruent front and rear projections (3, 4) in a narrowly staged formation. The projections are formed as ridges and troughs, or as fillets and grooves running transversally to the direction of displacement. An adjustable channel section comprises two end pieces (5, 6) with face-side connecting flanges (9, 10), and a central part (7) adjustable by overlaps. The end pieces have screw and through holes (11, 12) between which a sealing mass (13) is fitted in strip form. On the stage-form edges (14) for a grid are incorporated outer anchor tongues (15). USE - As a water drainage channel for wet rooms, i.e. wash rooms, shower rooms, bath rooms.
