<p>PURPOSE:To always carry out proper binding processing even when paper binding thickness is variously changed by providing a change-over means setting at least either one of an opposed type punching stand and a non-opposed type punching stand to a use state corresponding to the number of sheets detected by a number-of-paper detection means. CONSTITUTION:A number-of-paper detection means 61b calculates the number (n) of papers on the basis of a copy completion signal and judges whether n>=N is formed with respect to the set number N of papers when binding processing is carried out. In the case of YES, an order selecting a punching stand 85 (opposed type) is sent to a change-over means 95 from a control apparatus 61 and the change-over means 95 receives the order to drive a change-over motor 95b through a change-over motor driver 95c to feed the punching stand 85 to a predetermined position 96. When there is no abnormality in the presence of papers and the presence of foreign matter, a binding motor 82 is rotated by a binding motor driver 82a to carry out binding processing and a cam shaft 79 makes one revolution to stop. In the case of NO, a punching stand 86 is selected to carry out binding processing in the same way. Therefore, even when binding thickness is dissimilar, binding processing generating no building-up or detachment can be carried out.</p> |
