<p>PURPOSE:To easily remove fluorine-contg. alcohol in exhaust gas by bringing the exhaust gas containing fluorine-contg. alcohol into contact with an alkali aq. soln. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust gas containing fluorine-contg. alcohol is brought into contact with an alkali aq. soln. The fluorine-contg. alcohol is a compd. expressed by RfCH2OH or RfRf'CHOH. (Rf and Rf' are perfluoroalkyl groups of 1 - 10 carbon atoms.) The alkali aq. soln. mentioned above is an aq. soln. of hydroxide or carbonate of alkali metal or alkaline-earth metal, or soln. of ammonia, with 1 - 60% concn. Thereby, fluorine-contg. alcohol in exhaust gas can be easily removed.</p> |
