Extraction planing machine guide - fits on front side of chain scraper on flow channels

The guide (2) engages under tractive components (23) connected to the flow channels of a chain scraper (1) by means of tension devices (32). These devices are composed of levers (33) with corresp. tension components, e.g. screws, wedges, etc. The tension levers (33) are double-armed, which are pivotable around articulations (34) with axes pointing in the machine direction of travel. With their one arm (35) they engage with a tractive component (23), and with the other a tension component (38). The tractive components (23) engage beneath lower drum covers (29) of the flow channels of the chain scraper, or actually form the lower drum covers. USE - To guide a planing extraction machine in a mine.
