The invention relates to methods and devices for the mechanical crimping of connection parts to conductors allowing to obtain a good relative positionning of the crimping tools. A device according to the invention is comprised of two tool-holders (2, 9) each delimiting a groove (4, 21) precisely machined and wherein are arranged metal plates (14, 15, 27, 28) carrying the crimping tools (14a, 15a, 227a, 28a), shims (10, 13, 22, 26) and two platelets (11, 23) carrying respectively male guiding means (25a, 25b) and female guiding means (12) wherein the male guiding means are tight-fitted when the clamping tools are brought closer to a distance smaller than the minimum distance which separate them during clamping.
