The scanning density during a sending mode is converted for effective transmission of manuscript having complex and simple parts. The method comprises: (A) setting the start line and end line to have different scanning density; (B) sending lines and counting the sent line using a counter (10); and (C) controlling a motor driver (8) to convert the scanning density when the counted value coincides with the start and the end lines.
