DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE FOR MISFIRE OF ENGINE

PURPOSE:To prevent mistakes in diagnosing misfire that could be caused by rotary fluctuations during cranking and at the initial period of complete ignition by providing a misfire judgement stopping means for stopping judgement of misfire from the start of driving of a starter motor until a predetermined time elapses after driving of the starter motor is stopped. CONSTITUTION:Judgement of misfire is stopped by a misfire judgement stopping means M1 from the start of driving of a starter motor until a predetermined time elapses after driving of the starter motor is stopped. Then judgement of misfire is started by a misfire judging means M2 after the stopping period of misfire judgement elapses.
