The positioning device (1) is for two adjustable components of a vehicle seat. It comprises a hollow drive shaft (3) in which is coaxially mounted a second drive shaft (4) with a projecting transition section (5). The free ends of the shafts each have teeth (6, 7) which on axial displacement engage the inner teeth (14) of a hand wheel (2) rotatably mounted on the shafts.
