The pipe which is made of a hardening material has a pipe connector of a different material which is fitted as halves round the pipe ends. One half is formed as an insert end and the other half as the spigot end which is provided with a sleeve (7) which is designed to protrude over the pipe end and has an anchor (8-11) set in the pipe material. The sleeve and anchor are combined in one moulded body of a non-metallic material with a thermal expansion coefft. corresp. to the pipe material. The anchor can comprise several dovetailed grooves (8,9) which are set on the inside of the sleeve (7) and filled with the pipe material. USE/ADVANTAGE - A permanent sealed pipe connection is obtd. which does not impair the assembly of the pipes when creating a pipeline.
