PURPOSE:To prevent foreign matters or air bubbles from being contained and enable smooth impregnating work to be conducted by supplying resin varnish into a varnish bath composed of a plurality of rotating rolls and side plates that are in contact with the end surfaces of a bank of the rolls, simultaneously, impregnating resin varnish to a continuous sheet base material introduced form the gaps between the rolls to the resin varnish bath. CONSTITUTION:A resin varnish bath 2 is made up of a plurality of rotating rolls 1a, 1b... 1f being in contact with each other and side plates that are placed into contact with the end surfaces of a bank of the rolls. While, to the resin varnish bath 2, a constant quantity of resin varnish is supplied form a tank 3 by means of a pump 5, a continuous sheet base material 4 is successively introduced form one gap between a bank of the rolls to the resin varnish bath. From another gap between a bank of rolls, resin varnish impregnate base material is pulled out. At this time, the overflowed resin varnish moves to the resin varnish bath 21 and, since the impregnation to the sheet base material 4 is effected at both of the resin varnish baths 2 and 21, the necessary quantity of resin varnish can sufficiently be impregnated thereto. |
