PURPOSE:To provide the title composition which has no danger of ozonosphere destruction and has excellent properties as solvent, foaming agent, refrigerant, etc., by mixing methyl ethyl ketone and dichloropentafluoropropane. CONSTITUTION:Methyl ethyl ketone (A) and dichloropentafluoropropane (B) are mixed to prepare a fluorohydrocarbon azeotrope-like composition. Specific examples of the component B include 3,3-dichloro-1,1,2,2-pentalfuoropropane and 1,3-dichloro-1,1,2,2,3-pentafluoropropane. The mixing ratio of the component A to the component B may suitably be 1-50wt.% to 99-50wt.%. The resulting composition has superb detergency and hence is used as a remover of oil, wax and latex, a solvent for paints, a detergent for optical parts, etc., in place of fuorocarbon. |
