PURPOSE:To prevent breakdown with high accuracy by measuring the peak stresses of the fluctuating load applied on a machine, converting the repetitive number at respective peak stress levels to the equivalent repetitive number in set stress and emitting an alarm when set conditions are attained. CONSTITUTION:There is a cumulative damage rule as a method of analyzing the fatigue of a material by fluctuating load, and the equation (1) holds. The fluctuating torque during operation is measured with a torque detector 1, and is amplified by an amplifier 2, after which it is digitally converted with an A/D converter 3. In an arithmetic device 4, the peaks of the digital signals are counted by respective stress levels, and the operation and integration of the equation (1) are carried out. When said integrated value attains the repetitive number having beforehand been set in a comparator 5, a signal is transmitted to an alarm 6. Here, the integrated value is monitored as desired by a monitoring device 7. In this way, the breakdown of the machine is prevented with high accuracy and the excessive quality assurance of the machine is prevented as well. |
