Rotary piston steam engine - has pump to return condensate to evaporator

The steam engine (10) is of rotary piston type. Superheated steam is adiabatically expanded in the expansion chamber (14). The expanded steam is then cooled under constant pressure in the condenser (11). The liq. flowing form the condenser (11) is pumped by the pump (12) to the evaporator (13) where the liq. is heated at constant pressure to produce superheated steam. The engine has a first duct (33) which connects the evaporator (13) with the expansion chamber (14). a second duct (34) connects the expansion chamber (14) with the condenser (11) through two valves (17, 17'). The timing of the admission of the steam is controlled by inlet valves (16, 16'). USE - Rotary piston steam engine.
