ENCAPSULANT AND ENCAPSULATING METHOD

PURPOSE:To obtain electronic parts characterized by no trouble caused by mixing of chlorine, excellent chemical resistance and excellent hardness by sealing the parts with the polymer of bisallyl based compound. CONSTITUTION:Electronic parts are sealed with liquid-state polymer or copolymer which contains single or mixed material of monomer or oligomer of bisallyl based compound. It is desirable that the liquid-state material containing the oligomer or the oligomer mixture of bisallyl carbonate of alicyclic group and alicyclic or aromatic dihydric alcohol is used. Chlorine is not substantially incorporated in said liquid-state material. Thus, the electronic parts characterized by no trouble caused by chlorine in sealing resin, excellent chemical resistance and high hardness can be obtained.
