The main reflector is trough-shaped being comprised of two curved partial reflectors arranged in mirror image fashion so that their central axis travels the axis of the fluorescent lamp. The upper edge (point E) of the auxiliary reflector (2) with its outer screen (5) is placed at the height of the edge of the main reflector (1). The negative tangent angle (beta 4) of a partial reflector (1.1) in the central plane (Z) (point D) w.r.t. a straight line is such that the component (a) of one of the lamps (3) tangential beams (a, b) reflected at the point D directly passes an edge (point E) of the outer screen (5). The component of the other (b) lamp's tangential beam reflected at the point D encloses an angle with the vertical that does not exceed the max. radiation angle (alpha). USE/ADVANTAGE - Ceiling or built-in illumination. With customary shading and lighting efficiency achieves 50 to 60 per cent reduced height (HR) and width (BR).
