The circuitry to control e.m. devices (MVI) that connects to a voltage converter (2) coupled to a current sensor (5). This connects to a control stage (6) that supplies the load (MV1) via a decoupling stage. A second stage (25) also connects to the drive. The current sensor also connects to a measurement stage (19) coupled to the microcomputer. The system operates such that one stage (T2) provides the input for switching and the second stage (T1) provides a hold condition. USE/ADVANTAGE - Rapidly operates e.m. valve and holds by low current such that car battery power can be used w when used in motor vehicle.
