<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance water stopping effect at the connecting part of a drain hose being connected with the drain outlet of a drain pan by providing the connecting part and an annular protrusion for pressing a containing part when the drain outlet is connected on the outer circumference of an elastic body. SOLUTION: The air conditioner 1 is provided, at an upper front part and in the upper surface thereof, with suction openings 2 and, at a lower front part thereof, with an air outlet 3. An air passage connecting them is provided with a heat exchanger 4 and a fan 5 and a drain pan 6 is provided below the heat exchanger 4. A drain hose 8 comprises a tubular elastic body 9 connected with the drain outlet 6a of the drain pan 6 and a containing body 7 therefor having a connecting opening 7a. A connecting part and a first annular protrusion 9a for pressing the containing body 7 when the drain outlet 6a is connected are provided on the outer circumferential part of an elastic body 9. Since gap is eliminated between the containing body 7 and the elastic body 9, water stopping effect is not damaged and possibility of drain water leakage is eliminated.</p> |
