PURPOSE:To enhance a charging and discharging speed by providing a collector at the surface of an electrode made of a specific material. CONSTITUTION:At both surfaces of a plate-like silver ion conductive solid electrolytic layer, electrodes made of complex oxide represented by AgxO2O5-y (wherein 0.35<x, and (y) denotes oxygen deficiency) are formed. At the surface of the electrode, there is provided an electron conductive current collection molding layer (hereinafter referred to as 'a collector'). A lead terminal is disposed in contact with the collector. With this constitution, intercalation or de-intercalation of silver can be electrochemically carried out, and further, an electrode layer is brought into excellent contact with the solid electrolytic layer, thereby realizing stable reaction. |
