When the cleaning relay is integrated into electronic equipment, etc. to connect or disconnect a high capacity load, the temperature of the inside of the relay increases and the opening 3a of the case 3 is deformed such that the opening opens outward and a gap is made between the case 3 and the base 5 and the corrosive gas produced by the temperature of the inside of the relay and arc heat flows out too and the air flows with the result that it is possible to prevent abnormal consumption of a make-break contact and lengthen the life.
