A breast pump suitable for single handed manual operation has a milk reservoir 14, a suction bell and a suction pump which has a cylinder 10 with a reciprocatable piston 20 and manual means to move the piston in the cylinder. Various arrangements are shown with operating parts 26, 27 disposed symmetrically at either side of the cylinder 10 and with resilient bias 30 driving the piston 20 downwardly. <IMAGE> |
