PURPOSE:To rapidly execute image processing by executing the labeling processing of a binary image and the decision processing of graphic including relation based upon software. CONSTITUTION:This image processor is constituted of a scanner 1, an encoder 2, a processor 3, and a storage device 4. The device is also provided with a table for storing the coordinate information of the start and end points of a run constituted of the continuation of picture elements in a binary image and prescribed attribute recording items, a changing point moving pointer is formed by using the table and the outline of a graphic in the binary image is traced to execute the labeling processing of the graphic. Thereby, the processing can be executed based on software without preparing a specific image memory and successively accessing the picture elements of a binary image. Even when a general purpose computer is used, image processing can be executed at a sufficiently high processing speed. |
