PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the stability of a colored picture at a high sensitivity by including a specific wt.% or more 2-anilino-3 methyl-6- dimethylaminofluorane as an electron donative color coupler and by including at least one sort selected from a specific group as a sensitizer. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording material having an electron donative color coupler, bisphenol A as an electron acceptable developer and a sensitizer, it is necessary that 2-anilino-3-methyl-6-dimethylaminofluorane as the electron donative color coupler occupies 50wt.% or more of the color coupler. Then, other color couplers can be used jointly as occasion demands. Also, it is necessary to include, as a sensitizer, at least one sort selected from the group consisting of p-benzyl biphenyl, m-terphenyl, 2-benzyloxynaphthalene, oxalic acid di-p-methyl-benzyl and 1,2-di-m-toluoxyethane. |
