PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance and to improve economical efficiency by constituting a unit with the aid of integrally coupling an image carrying means, a developing means and a cleaning means and making the developer housing part of the developing means attachable and detachable from the unit. CONSTITUTION:The process unit U is obtained by integrating consumable goods and constituted of a photosensitive drum 1 being as the image carrying means, a developing mechanism 2, an electrostatic charger 3 which uniformly electrostatically charges the drum 1, a destaticizing lamp 4 for destaticizing the drum 1 and a cleaner mechanism 5 which cleans the drum 1. Besides, the developing mechanism 2 is constituted of a magnetic roller 2a, a stirring spiral 2b, an automatic toner sensor 2c and a toner hopper 2d being the developer housing part. Then, the toner hopper 2d is constituted so that it can be attached and detached from the unit U by being slided. Thus, the maintenance is facilitated and the economicity is improved. |
