<p>In an electronic organizer (1) into which an IC card (7) can be inserted, key symbols which are other than those printed on the IC card can be selectively displayed on a liquid crystal display (5) depending upon an application program to be executed. The electronic organizer has a lid (3) covering the body (2) and hinged at one end of the lid to the body. A plurality of keys (4) for selecting the modes of the electronic organizer are arranged in a line at the opposite end of the lid. <IMAGE></p>
