CONSTITUTION:The balls 8 are held at an equal interval on the finite track 9b of the retainer 9 and the balls 8 rotate and move with the retainer 9 in the moving direction of the spline shaft 3 as far as the retainer 9 can be moved by the linear motion of the spline shaft 3. When the balls 8 come to the terminal of the track, they do not move but rotate only and support the spline shaft 3. Further, at this time, when a driving force given to the spline shaft 3 is large, the retainer 9 may be broken by the frictional force but is not broken because an active driving force is not given to the spline shaft 3. In this way, excellent copying action, that is, excellent working can be performed. |
