A digital/analog converter arrangement having a large dynamic range for driving a torque generator (34) on a gyro by means of a digital signal contains a highly accurate time-controlled digital/ analog converter (10) and a second digital/analog converter (12) which converts position signals in parallel into analog signals and heterodynes these analog signals for forming an analog output signal. The position signals of relatively high significance of the digital signal to be converted are present at the digital/analog converter (10). The position signals of relatively low significance are present at the digital/analog converter (12). Means (28,36) for heterodyning the signals of the two digital/analog converters (10,12) are provided at the torque generator (34) of the gyro. <IMAGE> |
