<p>PURPOSE:To easily obtain valuable metal refining raw material powder of a cemented carbide constituting metal regardless of composition and contamination by reacting the cemented carbide waste with molten Al alloy. CONSTITUTION:The cemented carbide waste is charged into the molten Al alloy, and after melting, a solidified body obtd. by cooling is used to the refining raw material of the cemented carbide constituting metal. The above solidified body is left in the air or charged in water to obtain a hydroxide and fine powder. By charging this powder into the acid or alkali water solution to dissolve and separate Al hydroxide, the cemented carbide component element-compound powder is recovered. By this method, the valuable metal (W, Ta, Hf, Co, etc.) can be recovered from the cemented carbide waste.</p> |
