In a process for drying fuels, especially raw lignite, in which the dried fuels are at least partly burned in a power station process to generate energy and/or heating and process heat, it is proposed that at least two steam-heated driers are used, the first of which is heated by low-temperature steam from the water-steam circuit of the power station process and/or a part of the vapour current of the second drier and the second is heated by part of the vapour current of the first, whereby the vapour currents are adiabatically condensed before their use as a heating medium. |
