COMPOSITION FOR COOLING AUXILIARIES AND COOLING AUXILIARIES USING SUCH COMPOUND

A composition for cooling auxiliaries used with ice for refrigerated preservation and transportation of perishables or the like, and to cooling auxiliaries using said composition. The composition is constituted of salts such as table salt having a function of lowering a freezing point, and saccharides and/or sucrose fatty acid ester added to the salts and mixed therewith. Mixture of salts and saccharides improves solidification of composition and a mixture of salts and sucrose fatty acid ester serves to cover the surface of salts with sucrose fatty acid ester hard to dissolve in water. The use of cooling auxiliaries constituted of such composition as above together with ice controls the quantity of salts to act upon the ice and enables sustained insulation within a fixed range of temperature.
