The oven muffle (1) has an interior space (1) formed by the sides (4), the base (3) top and rear wall (5). Above the muffle (1) is a high frequency generator connected to the interior via a wave guide. Two protective tubes (6) are fixed to the rear muffle wall (5) and enter through suitable openings (7), from the exterior to the interior (2), and contain temperature sensors (8) with which the operating temperature is controlled. The tubes (6) are fixed to the rear wall by press on collets (10) against a metal flange plate (9), which has two fixing bolts (11) protruding through the rear wall (5). An elastic microwave conducting foil (12) covers the bolt stems, tubes and outer flange plate (17) by which the assembly is clamped to the wall by screw on nuts (18).
