A methylalkoxy-methylalkyl cyclosiloxane copolymer having the formula (OSiROR)d(OSiRR')e where R is an alkyl radical having one to three carbon atoms; R' is the alkyl radical (CH2)cR; c is an integer having a value of from 1 to 17; d is an integer having a value of from 3 to 10; and e is an integer having a value of from one to seven.
