<p>PURPOSE:To acquire good lamp current waveform by forming a central leg of one E-shaped core part of a pair of E-shaped core parts longer than a central leg of the other E-shaped core part and by forming a core gap at an area near a central part of a secondary winding which is wound around both central legs. CONSTITUTION:An E-shaped core part 118 and an E-shaped core part 120 are arranged with opening parts thereof opposed each other. A core gap is formed between a central leg 118a of the E-shaped core part 118 and a central leg 120a of the E-shaped core part 120. Since the central leg 118a of the E-shaped core part 118 is formed longer than a leg at both ends of the E-shaped core part 118, the core gap positions below a center of a core by the length difference. Therefore, the core gap is provided to an area near a central part of a secondary winding 114 which is wound in a large width.</p> |
