PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of a carrying means only used for sending a certificate to which color photographic printing has been performed to a printing means by providing a carriage means which moves to an upstream side and a downstream side in a certificate carrying direction while interposing the end of the certificate on the downstream side in the carrying direction. CONSTITUTION:When the certificate 1 is inserted from an insertion port 7, it is automatically carried to a color photographic printing part w and the color photographic printing 5 is performed at a specified position on the certificate 1. The printing part W is provided with the carriage 13 which moves back and forth three times because of printing yellow, magenta, and cyan necessary for color printing by holding the state that it interposes the head part of the carried certificate 1. After finishing the color photographic printing 5, the certificate 1 is fed to a character printing part X by the moving action of the carriage 13. Thus, the carrying means only used for sending the certificate to which the color photographic printing has been performed to the character printing means is not necessitated. |
