<p>PURPOSE:To cut a braid with such simple operation as to catch a base plate and an upper plate by holding the root of a braid with an inner edge, and rolling up the braid from a dielectric with a finger, and, in that condition, setting an outer edge on the inner edge so as to cut the braid crosswise. CONSTITUTION:When the root of a stripped braid 4 is put on the inner edge 21 on the fixation side, with the top face of a coaxial cord 1 turned to the side of outer edge 30, and a base plate and an upper plate are clasped with a hand, a middle plate closes, and the inner edge 22 on the movable side contact closely with the upper half of the braid 4 and presses it, and forms a cylinder with the inner edge 21 on the fixation side to hold the coaxial cord 1. When the base plate and the upper plate are clasped with a hand, it performs advancing motion, following the closing motion of the upper plate. And each top of a finger 45 abuts on the end face of the element wire of the braid 4 and bites in it. Then, while opening the top of the finger 45, the outer edge 30 advances further. In that condition, the outer edge 30 advances and is set in the condition that the hollow hole contacts closely with the periphery of the inner edge 20, the braid 4 is cut crosswise.</p> |
