PURPOSE:To easily realize various optimum modulation contents corresponding to various performance states by outputting plural pieces of modulation information corresponding to a pitch or an emitted sound operation state with one modulation device. CONSTITUTION:A processing program for generating a musical signal, tone data on a waveform and an envelope, and waveform data RD itself are stored in ROM 20. A ROM address control circuit 31 controls a read address, and the reading of the processing program or tone data is switched to the reading of waveform data RD. Frequency number speed data FS corresponding to the operation key of a keyboard 1 is sequentially accumulated in a frequency number accumulator 40 for respective channels and is given to ROM 20 through the ROM address control circuit 31 as read address data. Then, waveform data RD is read at speed corresponding to frequency number speed data FS, namely, at speed corresponding to a pitch, and it is inputted to a waveform data expanding interpolation circuit 50. |
