OPENING AND CLOSING DEVICE FOR REAR GATE PANEL

PURPOSE:To eliminate uneven combinations of parts by a method in which parts are integrated and collectively set on the lower ratch coupled portions of rear gate panels. CONSTITUTION:Inner panels 2b are set at a given intervals vertically on the inside of an outer panel 2a and the lower parts of a stepwise bent form of the inner panels 2b are integrally connected to the outer panel 2a. Parts are collectively set on the lower part of the rear gate panel 2 in an opening and closing device 10. When the panel 2 is closed, claws 22 on the panel side are engaged with a striker 21 on the vehicular body side and the condition is kept on the detent lever 24. As a result, a ratch device 20 is locked to prevent the opening of door.
