PURPOSE:To obtain a head feeding mechanism suitable to the miniaturizing of a device by providing a flexible cable in the side part of a carriage with using space between guide rails to form the head feeding mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A flexible cable for power 26 and a flexible cable for signal 27 are fitted to a carriage 18 through a fitting board 28 respectively and the flexible cables are fixed on a deck base by a reinforcing board with being bent largely toward the deck base. Besides, the flexible cables are connected to the reinforcing board and the end part of them are made to pass through holes formed in the deck base downward. Besides, all the flexible substrate and flexible cables are one body and are bent. The flexible cables are bent from the above of a optical axis downward, the cables are hard to be loads on the moving of an optical head, bending R can be made large and it is re duced that damage is given to the cables. |
