PURPOSE:To heighten the accuracy of idling revolution speed control, by providing a step for determing a central duty factor, and a step for converting a driving electric current for an idling revolution speed control valve into a digital signal. CONSTITUTION:In a method of controlling the idling revolution speed of an engine depending on its running condition, a step for determining a central duty factor for obtaining an aimed idling revolution speed, a step for determining an output duty factor by applying a dither to the central duty factor, a step for turning on or off a driving electric current for an idling revolution speed control valve, and a step for converting the current into a digital signal are provided. The accuracy of the control is thus heightened. |
