<p>Book-jacket material is produced by printing paper on one or both sides and applying to the printed side, a layer of hardening soft transparent plastic in liquid form. This adheres to the paper and is then hardened. The paper can be coiled in a roll continuously printed in a rotary press and coated. The plastic used can be plastisol or organosol, hardened by heating into flexible polyvinyl chloride.</p> |
