<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the number of packing members and avoid the need for metal fastening to prevent a packed object from being damaged by a method wherein the interior angle part of a L-shaped part is fitted along the exterior angle part of the object and the side face of the object is supported by the side face of the L-shaped part of a bent projecting part to protect the exterior angle part of the object from damage. CONSTITUTION:The ends of a L-shaped part 3 are bent along a score thereof inwardly of an interior angle part 3a thereof into a bent projecting part 5. The interior angle part 3a of the L-shaped part 3 of packing material 1 is fitted along each exterior angle part 10a of an object 10 to be packed and the side faces 10b of the object 10 are supported by the end face of the bent projecting part 5 on the side of the L-shaped part 3 to protect the exterior angle part 10a of the object 10 by a single member and, since metal fastening is not used, the object 10 is not damaged. Since a space B can be provided as high as the bent projecting part 5 beneath the object 10, the underside of the object 10 is free from damage when the object after packing is dragged and the projecting prongs of a forklift are slid through the space B to easily move the object 10.</p> |
