<p>PURPOSE:To control a plurality of load circuits by one photocoupler and to reduce the number of manufacturing steps by forming a plurality of photocells on a photodetecting device, and interposing a liquid crystal filter between the photocells and the device. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of photocells 5a are formed on a photodetecting device 5, and a liquid crystal filter 10 is interposed between the photocells 5a and the device 5. Thus, since an optical signal transmitting a liquid crystal material 14 on the peripheries of an electrode 16 is polarized by altering a place of the material 14 to be applied by a voltage and the outputs of the photocells 5a corresponding to transparent electrodes 16 can be controlled by cutting the polarized light by a polarizing plate 15, a plurality of load circuits can be controlled by one photocoupler 1. The output lines of the photocells 5a are connected in parallel with the load, and the outputs can be altered by varying the number of the electrodes 16 of the filter 10 corresponding to the photocells 5a to be applied by the voltage. Further, a plurality of photocells 5a are formed on the device 5 and formed of one chip, thereby largely simplifying mounting steps and reducing the number of manufacturing steps.</p> |
