PURPOSE:To provide superior sound-absorbing properties all through from a low frequency zone to a high frequency zone, superior rigidity and superior strength by heat fixing by pressure a polyurethane foam sheet, inorganic fiber containing phenol resin powder almost uniformly and a cover material in the state of laminating them successively. CONSTITUTION:Glass fiber 2 is spread all over a soft polyurethane foam sheet 1. Then, phenol resin powder 3 composed of a mixture of novolac type resin, a curing agent and a lubricant is sprayed over said glass fiber (inorganic fiber) 2, and said powder is contained almost uniformly in the glass fiber 2. Then, a soft polyurethane foam sheet 4 is laminated on the glass fiber 2 and further heat compression molded. The phenol resin 2 spread over the glass fiber 2 is melted by said heating to bond the glass fiber 2, the soft polyurethane foam sheet 1 and the soft polyurethane foam sheet (cover material) 4 all together to manufacture a ceiling material. |
