PURPOSE:To improve inspection accuracy by inspecting a body under inspection by image processing using a two-dimensional camera. CONSTITUTION:A body under inspection 3 is moved beneath a two-dimensional camera 10, and the image of the body under inspection 3 is picked up. At this time, the field of view for the image is set so that the entire body under inspection 3 is included in the view. The received image signal is binary-coded in a binary-coding circuit 11a of an image processing device 11. At this time, the binary-coding level is set so that the signal from the body under inspection 3 that is a sample is white '0' and the other part is black '1'. The binary-coded image is written and stored in a memory circuit 11b. The stored image is converted into the image signal with a signal processing circuit 11c comprising a CPU and the signal is displayed on the monitoring TV 14. In the signal processing circuit 11c, processing for inspecting the position and the size of the body under inspection on the display is performed. A circuit 11d is a camera scanning circuit for imparting a scanning signal for the two-dimensional camera 10. The camera scanning circuit is controlled with the signal processing circuit 11c. |
