Applicable to conventional mops and the object is to facilitate their draining, having a cylindrical piece 4 with a plurality of teeth 5 oriented in one direction, over which is arranged, with possibilities of rotation, a sleeve 6 which includes a handle 9 and which at the bottom has a recess housing a spring 8 which assists a ratchet 7 which rests on the teeth 5, sliding of the ratchet 7 being permitted upon rotation of the handle in one direction and the interlocking thereof when it is rotated in the opposite direction, torsion of the mop 3 being effected and therefore its draining. It has two cylindrical tubular pieces 12 and 14 of considerable length, the first being fixed to the mop and the second being arranged axially over the previous one with the possibility of rotation, unnecessary movements with one of the hands holding the mop being avoided. <IMAGE>
