A process for producing a toothbrush 10' with at least three head portions 13, 14, 15 and intermediate cavities 11, 12. The head portions 13-15 form an angle with respect to one another about a shaft 14a, 15a parallel to an associated cavity 11, 12 after a local heating of the head of the toothbrush 10a carried out in the base 11a, 12a of each one of the cavities 11, 12. Folding takes place precisely in the base 11a, 12a of the associated cavity 11, 12. An unwrought piece for implementing the process and a toothbrush thus produced have cavities 11, 12 formed in the rear side of the head of the toothbrush. The longitudinal shafts 14a, 15a for folding the head portions 13, 14, 15 with respect to one another are provided on the side carrying the bristles of the head portion directly opposite the associated cavity 11, 12. <IMAGE>
