The tamper-indication band (3) of the threaded cap (1) has a predetermined breaking point (11), at which the entire height of the tamper-indication band may be separated. Adjacent to the predetermined breaking point, a preferably window-shaped relief aperture (12) is arranged, which improves the extendibility of the tamper-indication band when the cap is first unscrewed. The predetermined breaking point comprises at least two material bridges, a lower one of which is located at the lower edge of the threaded cap.
