A bristle disk (10) for an electric toothbrush is provided. The bristle disk (10) has a bristle carrier (20) and bristles arranged in tufts (30) disposed in an outer row (40), a middle row (50) and an inner row (60). The outer row tufts (60) are adapted for cleaning the gingival space between the teeth and gums. The middle row tufts are adapted for cleaning the surface of the teeth . The inner row tuft (60) is adapted for cleaning the interproximal space between the teeth.
