PURPOSE:To control the direction of printing for data in accordance with a case when a whole table cannot be stored within a designated paper by rotating and printing data when the size of the table is detected to be larger than that of the designated paper. CONSTITUTION:A size alteration means 2A enlarges an item area to the size adjusted to a maximum data length which a data length detection means 1A detects and alters the size of the table. A size comparison means 3A compares the altered size of the table and the size of the designated paper. When the size comparison means 3A detects that the size of the table is larger than that of the designated paper, a printing control means 4A rotates and prints data on the designated paper and alters the direction of data. Thus, the direction of printing for data can be controlled in accordance with the case when the whole table cannot be stored within the designated paper at the time of reducing or enlarging the item area constituting the table in accordance with the maximum data length and altering the size of the table. |
