PRODUCTION OF FINE POWDER OF BISMUTH RUTHENATE AND LEAD-CONTAINING BISMUTH RUTHENATE

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain fine powder of bismuth ruthenate and fine powder of lead- contg. bismuth ruthenate having satisfactory dispersibility and useful as the electrically conductive material of a thick film resistor by washing, drying and roasting a precipitate formed by a wet process with a ruthenate soln. prepd. from metallic ruthenium as starting material. CONSTITUTION:Metallic ruthenium is dissolved in an alkali soln. in the presence of an oxidizing agent to prepare a ruthenate soln. and a soln. contg. bismuth or bismuth and lead ions equivalent to ruthenium ions in the ruthenate soln. and further contg. hydrazinium salt is added to the ruthenate soln. to form a precipitate. This precipitate is washed, dried and roasted at 700-900 deg.C to obtain fine powder of bismuth ruthenate or fine powder of lead-contg. bismuth ruthenate.
