A synergistic herbicide mixt. consists of (a) 1-(6-fluoro-2-oxo-3-(2-propynyl) -2,3-dihydro-benzothiazol-5-yl) -3,4-dimethyl-3-pyrrolin-2,5-(1H)- dione of formula (I); and (b) a herbicide which interferes directly or indirectly in photosynthesis, or which inhibits cell division or which is a growth agent. Pref. agents (b) which interfere with photosynthesis are Alrazin, Cyanazin, Simazin, Metribuzin, Linuron, Isoproturon, Methabenzthiazuron, Chlorotoluron, Terbutryne or fluorochloridone. Agents (b) which inhibit cell division are Pendimethalin, Benfuresate, Alachlor, Metalochlor, Propachlor, Trifluralin or Ethofumesate. The growth agent (b) is Dicamba. The wt. ratio (a):(b) is 1:100 - 50:1. |
